Tonight

Rain in the northeast will clear away soon to leave a mix of cloud and clear spells tonight with further outbreaks of rain continuing to spread from the southwest. The rain will become lighter and patchier as the night goes on with more clear spells developing. However, cloud will build in the south later with more persistent rain developing in the southwest towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees in moderate to fresh south to southeast winds.<br>A combination of spring tides and onshore winds may result in coastal flooding, particularly at high tide along the south and east coasts.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning, rain in the southwest will spread across Munster, south Leinster and south Connacht, but it will be a dry start further north with sunny spells. Outbreaks of rain will continue to extend nationwide through the afternoon. A clearance to showers and some late sunny spells will<br>then follow into the south. Turning breezy with the rain with moderate to fresh east to southeast winds, occasionally increasing strong. Highest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees.
