A few showers may continue in the north and west but most places will be dry and clear tonight. Thickening cloud in the northwest will start to extend southeastwards overnight, with occasional rain affecting parts of Ulster. Areas of mist and fog will form too. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees with light variable breezes.

Tomorrow

Generally cloudy tomorrow morning in the north and west with occasional rain and drizzle along with some mist patches but turning sunnier through the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees. A dry and mostly sunny start for the south and east before some cloud pushes southwards and with some scattered showers breaking out, some heavy or possibly thundery, especially across southern counties. Highest temperatures of 18 to 23 or 24 degrees. Northerly winds will be mostly light, occasionally moderate.
