Why Ice Matters

Met Éireann Podcast

Met Éireann Podcast

Our April Podcast is all about ice and its importance to society and ecosystems, how it is being lost through climate change, and why those of us who live in ice-free regions should still be concerned by this. We speak to two scientists working in the European Alps and Greenland – glaciologists Dr. Harry Zekollari and Dr. Penny How, while Liz and Noel discuss the general science (including a little on Noel’s glaciology background).
