TONIGHT

Dry with variable cloud and clear spells at first tonight. Cloud will build from the west overnight, bringing outbreaks of rain and drizzle. A few mist and fog patches will form also. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in the mostly light southerly breezes. Winds will freshen near the west coast towards morning.

Cloudy for much of Saturday with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, locally heavy. There will be some patchy mist, hill and coastal fog also. The rain will give way to scattered showers in the afternoon and a few may turn heavy. Some bright or sunny spells will develop also. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees in light to moderate southerly breezes, which will be fresh at times near some coasts. Mildest in the nothwest.

Saturday Night: Saturday night will bring a mix of clear spells and showers. The showers will be heaviest and most frequent in the northwest and north. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in light, occasionally moderate, southwesterly breezes.

Sunday: Variable cloud, sunny spells and scattered showers on Sunday. It'll turn cloudier from the southwest later in the day, with patchy rain and drizzle developing along Atlantic coasts in the evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, warmest in the east, with light to moderate southwesterly winds. Mostly cloudy on Sunday night with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading countrywide in light to moderate south to southwest winds. Patches of mist will develop too. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.

Bank Holiday Monday: Mostly cloudy and damp to begin on Bank Holiday Monday with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, breaking up into showers and sunny spells as the day goes on. Some of the showers could turn heavy later. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, again warmest in the east, with moderate southwest to west winds.

Tuesday: Current indications suggest a mix of sunshine and showers, some heavy early on in the day. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in mostly moderate westerly winds.

Further Outlook: Changeable and at times unsettled with a mobile Atlantic regime dominating. Temperatures trending near average, with daytime highs in the mid-teens generally.
