This morning will be dull with mist and scattered outbreaks of rain or drizzle, heavy at times early on. It will become wet and windy during the afternoon as a spell of rain spreads northeastwards, followed by heavy showers. South to southwest winds will become very strong and gusty, with gales or strong gales in coastal areas. Milder than recent days with highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees.
Rain will clear northeastwards and will be followed by scattered showers and clear spells. Windy at first with strong and gusty south to southwest winds, but winds will become mainly moderate overnight. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees.
Tomorrow will bring scattered showers and occasional sunshine. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds, easing light to moderate by evening.

Monday night: Clear spells and scattered showers at first. Cloud will build from the west overnight, bringing outbreaks of rain. Patches of mist and fog will form as winds become light and variable. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees.
Tuesday: A cloudy start to the day with rain in the south and east and scattered showers in the northwest. There'll be patches of mist and fog too. The cloud and rain will gradually clear eastwards through the morning and early afternoon, leaving mainly dry weather and clear spells. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with light and variable winds becoming light to moderate northerly.
Tuesday night: Cold and dry with long clear spells leading to frost and possibly some ice. Cloud will increase across the west later. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +3 degrees with light to moderate northwesterly winds becoming southerly.
Wednesday: Cloud and rain will spread eastwards across the country during Wednesday and it'll become breezy with moderate to fresh southerly winds developing. Highest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees, coldest in Ulster.
Wednesday night: Cloud and rain will clear eastwards on Wednesday night and will be followed by clear spells and scattered showers, most of these towards Atlantic coasts. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds.
Thursday: Many areas will be dry with sunny spells at first, although showers will affect western areas. Through the day, cloud and showery rain will track northeastwards across the country. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with light to moderate south to southwest winds.
