Most areas dry today with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Some scattered showers too, especially in the Northwest, some heavy later. A spell of rain will begin to move into the Southwest this evening or early tonight. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, best values across Leinster and east Munster; all in a light to moderate southwest breeze.

Tonight

Wet tonight with rain becoming widespread across the country, turning heavy at times. The rain will ease and become patchier in the southwest towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees with light to moderate south to southeast winds, fresher along southern coasts.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow will be a wet start for most with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The rain will become patchier through the morning with occasional bright breaks developing, mainly in the south and east. However, more persistent showery rain will continue in parts of the northwest and north. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees with moderate southwest winds.
