Another dry day tomorrow with plenty of sunshine. However, fog may affect some coastal parts at times. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in a light southerly breeze.

Overview: High pressure remains dominant at first. Turning increasingly unsettled through Sunday and into early next week.

Friday night: Mostly dry with long clear spells, though becoming a touch cloudier in the northwest. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees in near calm conditions with areas of mist and fog forming.

Saturday: Fog will clear most areas through the morning though may linger near some coasts. A dry day with hazy sunshine for most, though it will be duller in parts of the northwest with a few spots of light rain or drizzle possible here. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in light southerly or variable breezes.

Saturday night: Another mostly dry night with clear spells, again with mist and fog forming. However, cloud will build in the northwest with patchy rain and drizzle developing here towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 6 degrees with mostly light southwesterly winds.

Sunday: Starting off dry for most with bright spells in the southeast. Becoming cloudier through the morning with patchy rain or drizzle in places. The rain will be more persistent in Connacht and Ulster for a time. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds, veering northwesterly through the day.

Monday: Current indications show a damp and breezy day with outbreaks of rain and moderate to fresh southwesterly winds. Cooler than previous days with highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees.

Further outlook: Likely continuing unsettled with further spells of wet and breezy weather.
