Today

Any mist or fog patches in the south will soon clear and it'll be a pleasant day ahead with spells of autumn sunshine. It'll be dry apart from a few isolated showers across the north and northwest to begin. After a cool start, afternoon highs will range a seasonal 14 to 17 degrees with mostly light southerly breezes, moderate in some western and northwestern coastal parts.

Tonight

Mostly dry and clear early tonight. However, increasing cloud will feed in patchy drizzle to Atlantic counties, mainly along coasts. Some mist or fog will develop too. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 12 degrees, coolest under clearer skies across the midlands and east, mildest in the west and southwest. Winds will be mostly light southerly, a little fresher in some western and northwestern coastal parts.

Tomorrow

It'll be a mostly cloudy day tomorrow with some patchy drizzle, mainly across west and northwest counties, along with some hill and coastal mist and fog there too. Dry elsewhere, with mist and any fog clearing through the morning and with some sunny spells at times across the east and southeast. Mild and humid with highest temperatures of 16 to 19 or 20 degrees. Southwest winds will be moderate to fresh across the west and north, but just light to moderate elsewhere.
