National Forecast

18 February 2026 18:30

Tonight

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times too. Drier conditions further west tonight but the rain will clear away from the east overnight. Southeasterly breezes will weaken later with northwesterlies developing in the south-west overnight. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees. Heavy rain on already saturated ground, together with strong onshore winds coinciding with high tides, may cause river and coastal flooding.

Tomorrow

Starting off mostly cloudy. Scattered showers or more persistent spells of rain will move northeastwards across the country with drier and brighter conditions following from the southwest. Highest temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees, coolest in the north and mildest in the southwest, with moderate to fresh and occasionally strong northwest winds spreading from the southwest, but staying mainly light to moderate and variable in the northeast.
