A cloudy and locally misty start to the day with well scattered showers, mainly affecting Ulster and north Leinster. Sunny spells will gradually break through with just isolated showers by this evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees, best values across southern counties, in a light to moderate northwesterly breeze.

Tonight

Dry tonight, apart from isolated showers early on, with long clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees in a light northwest or variable breeze.

Tomorrow

Dry for much of Thursday with rather warm spells of hazy sunshine and just light westerly breezes. During the afternoon, cloud will gradually build across Atlantic counties with some rain, drizzle and mist arriving during the evening hours. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees.
