The rain will move eastwards across the country through this evening, with drier and brighter conditions following in the west. Light to moderate southerly breezes will gradually veer north to northwest.

Tonight will become largely dry with clear spells, mainly in the west, as the rain, drizzle and mist mostly clears eastwards, though it's likely to linger in parts of the east and southeast through the night. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees generally, mildest in the southeast, with light, occasionally moderate north to northwest breezes.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow will start mostly cloudy, especially in the east and southeast with some patchy drizzle and mist clearing through the morning. Elsewhere there'll be spells of sunshine, with scattered showers developing in the afternoon, mainly in the south and east. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees, with light, occasionally moderate, north or northwest breezes.
