Generally cloudy this morning with patches of light rain, drizzle and mist, although mostly dry for a time in the east, with perhaps the odd bright spell. A spell of persistent and heavier rain will extend across the country from the southwest through the afternoon with sunny spells and showers following this evening. Some of the showers will be heavy and thundery in the west and northwest. It will become increasingly breezy, with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds developing. Humid with highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees.

Tonight

A mix of clear spells and scattered showers, with a few heavy ones possible in the northwest early in the night. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with a moderate to fresh southwesterly to west wind.

Tomorrow

A noticeably cooler and fresher day on Sunday, with sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees in a fresh and occasionally strong and gusty westerly breeze.
