Cloudy and rather breezy with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, spreading eastwards through the morning and afternoon. The rain will clear away later this afternoon, but it will be followed by outbreaks of patchy light rain and remaining rather overcast. Some limited dry spells mainly in the south and west later in the day. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds, stronger for exposed coasts.

Mostly cloudy at first with scattered outbreaks of mainly light rain and drizzle, along with some mist and hill fog. A clearance will follow from the northwest though overnight, with a few scattered showers following too, these mainly in the north and parts of the west. Mild with temperatures not falling below 11 to 15 degrees in moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty southwest winds, stronger in exposed coastal parts.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Saturday, will be breezy generally, with a lot of dry weather overall and some bright or sunny spells. There'll be some scattered mostly light showers too though, these mainly affecting the northern half of the country. Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees in moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty southwest to west winds, stronger in the north and northwest, but the winds will gradually moderate from the south through the day.
