Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will move eastwards across the country tonight and will be followed by clear spells and scattered showers. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 8 degrees with light to moderate southwest to west winds, freshening in the west towards morning.

Tomorrow

Rain and drizzle will clear from the east early tomorrow morning. Otherwise there will be a mix of sunny spells and scattered blustery showers, some heavy with a chance of thunder. The showers will gradually retreat northwards and most places will become dry through the evening. Cooler than recent days with highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty westerly winds, strong near coasts.
