It will be dry overnight over much of Ireland with clear spells and some patches of mist or fog. Showers will continue to affect western counties, some heavy with hail possible. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees.


Thursday will start off dry and bright in many areas. However, showers in western areas will gradually spread eastwards and will become widespread during the afternoon, some heavy and possibly thundery with hail. Feeling cool with highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees and light southerly or variable breezes.
