Outbreaks of rain or drizzle will spread gradually southeastwards across the country today and it will become breezy. The rain will clear to scattered showers over the northern half of the country during the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with a moderate to fresh and gusty westerly wind developing.

Tonight

Cloud and patchy rain or drizzle will persist in the southwest and there will be scattered showers in Ulster. Otherwise it will be dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with moderate to fresh and gusty westerly winds, becoming strong at times in Ulster.

Tomorrow

A dry start for most tomorrow morning, but it will be cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle in the west and southwest and there'll be a few showers in Ulster. The cloud and rain will spread eastwards across the rest of the country during the afternoon. Moderate to fresh westerly winds, easing for a time but increasing again across Connacht and Munster through the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees.
