Tonight will be mostly cloudy. Outbreaks of light rain and drizzle will develop in the northwest and spread southeastwards overnight. Some fog patches too. Coldest in early tonight across the south and east with perhaps a touch of frost. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees with mostly light southwest breezes.


On Saturday morning, patchy light rain and drizzle will affect Leinster and Munster and will gradually clear to the southeast. Bright or sunny spells over Connacht and Ulster will follow to most areas by the end of the day. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light southwest breezes veering northwesterly.
