Rain and drizzle in southern coastal areas will clear early tonight. There will then be a mix of clear spells and scattered showers across the country. Showers will merge to longer spells of rain across Connacht and Ulster during the night, before pushing further south towards dawn on Saturday. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees with some frost possible in moderate southwest winds.

Tomorrow

Saturday will start off quite cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle sinking southeastwards across the country during the morning. Dry and bright weather will follow from the northwest with spells of sunshine developing. Showers will develop near western coasts after dark. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in moderate north to northwest winds.
