Tonight will be cloudy and mostly dry apart from just a few spots of rain or drizzle. However, towards morning rain will develop along Atlantic coastal counties. Fresh southerly winds will strengthen and become very strong along northwest coasts by morning. Staying rather mild with lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees with some mist or fog affecting mainly the south and west.


Tomorrow, Friday, will be mostly cloudy with rain in the west and northwest spreading eastwards during the morning and early afternoon, accompanied by fresh to strong southerly winds. The rain will clear to scattered showers with some sunny spells developing. Mid day temperatures will be 9 to 12 degrees but it will turn cooler and fresher with the clearance as winds veer west to northwesterly and moderate.
