Dull and wet starting out this morning with widespread rain, some heavy bursts, especially for east and northeast counties. While the rain will soon ease from the west, it will be dull, damp and rather breezy for most of the day. A humid day with highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with moderate to fresh southwest winds, easing by evening.

Tonight

Tonight will bring further patches of drizzle and light rain but also longer drier spells. Hill, mist and coastal fog too. A mild, humid night with lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees. Moderate westerly winds will freshen again overnight.

Tomorrow

Mostly cloudy and breezy on Friday with lingering patchy outbreaks of light rain or drizzle, mainly confined to northern and southern coasts later in the afternoon. Some sunny spells will break through in places later. Highest temperatures of 14 to 20 degrees, mildest for east and southeast counties. Fresh westerly winds will become gusty along northern coast later.
