Today

Mostly overcast today, Easter Sunday, with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle, and with some heavy bursts later further west. Hill, mist and coastal fog too. However, a few sunny spells will develop, the best chance of which will be across western fringes this morning and early afternoon and across eastern areas later. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees, in light to moderate southeasterly breezes.

Tonight

Tonight will bring further outbreaks of rain and drizzle, especially across the western half of the country before becoming patchier as it pushes northeastwards. Some mist patches too. Clear spells and scattered showers will follow from the west. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees, in a light to moderate south to southwest breeze.

Tomorrow

Damp, drizzly and locally wet weather will clear north and northeast counties tomorrow morning, Easter Monday. While sunny spells will develop widely, scattered heavy showers will occur through the day too with the odd rumble of thunder possible. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees, in a moderate to fresh westerly wind.
