Lingering rain in the southeast will clear early this afternoon. Otherwise it will be bright with sunny spells and scattered blustery showers, most frequent over the northern half of the country. Cool and breezy with highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in fresh and gusty westerly winds.


Tonight will become mainly dry with clear spells as showers become isolated. Fresh and gusty westerly winds will gradually ease, becoming light southerly overnight. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees, coldest in the southeast.


Sunday will start off mainly dry with sunny spells and isolated showers. Showery outbreaks of rain will develop in the west and northwest in the morning, spreading southeastwards to all areas during the afternoon and continuing through the day. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.
