Today

Mostly cloudy this afternoon and evening apart from some sunny spells in the south and southeast. Outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the west and north will move southeastwards across the country through the late afternoon and evening, becoming patchier as they do so and with parts of the south and southeast remaining dry. Cooler in Connacht and Ulster with highest temperatures this afternoon of 17 to 21 degrees, and warmer in Munster and Leinster with highest temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees. All with light to moderate southwest to west breezes.

Tonight

Cloudy with mist and scattered outbreaks of rain or drizzle. These will become more isolated overnight and some clear intervals will develop in the east and south. Mild with lowest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in light to moderate westerly breezes.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning and early afternoon will be mainly cloudy with scattered light showers and occasional sunny intervals. During the late afternoon and evening a spell of rain will develop over the southern half of the country and showers will become heavier and more frequent further north. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees in light to moderate westerly breezes, fresh at times along Atlantic coasts.
