Today

Cloud will increase through the evening as wet and windy conditions spread northwards over the country as Storm Austen tracks to the south of Ireland. Remaining mainly dry in Ulster with some clear spells, while elsewhere heavy rain over Munster and south Leinster will extend into Connacht and much of Leinster through the evening. Localised flooding is possible, especially in Munster and Leinster. Light to moderate east to northeast winds will strengthen fresh to strong.
