Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees generally with a touch of grass frost possible in the east and south, warmer along Atlantic fringes with lows of 7 to 9 degrees. Winds will be light southerly or variable allowing a few mist and fog patches to form.

Tomorrow

Any mist and fog patches clearing to leave a bright start on Tuesday, with sunny spells. A few scattered showers will continue however, mainly in western and northwestern coastal areas. Cloud will increase from the west as the day progresses with rain extending from the Atlantic during the afternoon and evening hours. Moderate to fresh southerly winds will become strong and gusty near Atlantic coasts by evening. Maximum temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees.
