Remaining rain, heavy at times, will clear the east coast this evening as clear spells and isolated showers continue to spread from the west. Moderate to fresh southerly winds will veer southwesterly and ease with the clearance of the rain.

Tonight

Clear spells and isolated showers, mainly in the west, at first tonight. The showers will become more frequent in the west later and will spread eastwards overnight, some of them heavy with hail and a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees, in moderate to fresh and gusty southwesterly winds, strong near coasts.

Tomorrow

Friday will start out blustery with sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers will become isolated through the morning, with largely dry conditions developing for most for the rest of the day. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees, with moderate to fresh and gusty southwesterly winds, gradually easing through the day, and backing southerly towards evening.
