Tonight

Outbreaks of rain will continue to extend eastwards over the country tonight, with some heavy bursts. It will be windy for a time up along Atlantic coasts with fresh to strong southerly winds. A clearance to mainly dry conditions, with just isolated showers will follow from the west overnight, reaching eastern coastal areas in the early morning. Lows of 7 to 11 degrees Celsius, coolest in the south and west. Some mist and fog patches will also develop. Southerly winds will veer westerly with the clearance of the rain.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Sunday, will have a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, the showers mainly over the western half of the country during the morning, but extending further east later in the day. Some of the showers will turn heavy by afternoon, especially in the northwest, with a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms. Highest temperatures 15 to 17 or 18 degrees Celsius, in mostly moderate westerly winds.
