Tonight

Tonight will be wet and breezy with rain continuing and flooding likely across parts of east Ulster, Leinster and east Munster. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees, coldest in the north, with fresh and gusty easterly winds, strong to gale force along some exposed coasts.

Tomorrow

Friday will be another wet day with further outbreaks of rain. The rain will be heaviest and most persistent across the eastern half of the country with the continued potential for flooding. Rain will become confined to the northern half of the country during the course of the afternoon and evening with showers following from the south. Afternoon temperatures will range from 4 to 6 degrees in the north and between 7 and 10 degrees in the south with fresh and gusty east or southeast winds.
