Highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees, with light to moderate southwest winds, backing south to southeast and freshening near Atlantic coasts later.

Outbreaks of rain and drizzle, with occasionally heavy bursts tonight. The rain will gradually clear eastwards overnight, giving way to clear spells and scattered showers spreading from the west. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds, strong and gusty near Atlantic coasts.

Tomorrow

Sunny spells and scattered blustery showers tomorrow, Friday, with any lingering overnight rain and drizzle quickly clearing in the east. Cloudier at times in the west and northwest, where some of the showers may be heavy or prolonged. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty southwesterly winds, strong in the west and northwest, especially early on in the day, but the winds will ease later.
