Wet tonight with further outbreaks of rain and drizzle, heaviest in the southwest and west with spot flooding possible. Mist and fog patches too. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in moderate, occasionally fresh, southerly winds.

Tomorrow

Rain, drizzle and mist, with hill and coastal fog, will gradually clear northeastwards on Wednesday morning, followed by sunny spells and scattered showers. Some of the showers will be heavy and thundery with the chance of hail and spot flooding, especially over the western half of the country. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in moderate to fresh south or southwest winds, strong near southern and Atlantic coasts.
