This afternoon and evening will be mostly cloudy as patchy rain and drizzle moves eastwards across the country. Rainfall amounts will be small and it will stay mainly dry in the south and southeast. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees with mostly moderate southerly winds, fresher in the west.

Tonight

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain or drizzle and patches of mist and fog. It will become largely dry by morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds, fresh at times in the west.

Tomorrow

Most areas will be dry tomorrow morning, with some sunny intervals in the east and south. Rain will then move into parts of Munster, Connacht and west Ulster, with a few showers elsewhere. Milder and breezy tomorrow with highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees and moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds.
