Today

Dry for a time in central and northern counties this evening but with outbreaks of rain developing in the south. Showery outbreaks of rain will then spread gradually northwards over the country during the course of the evening and early tonight.

Tonight

Mostly cloudy and misty tonight with outbreaks of rain continuing to spread northwards over the country. Some clearer and drier breaks will extend from the south overnight. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees, generally. Near calm conditions will allow mist to thicken to fog in some parts towards dawn.

Tomorrow

Mostly cloudy with mist and fog to begin on Monday. Outbreaks of rain will be mainly confined to northern parts and will clear northwards though the morning. Brighter conditions with a few showers in the west and south will extend to the north and east through the afternoon. Cloud will begin to build from the southwest in the evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in light westerly or variable breezes.
