Cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle becoming widespread this morning. The rain will become confined to the south and south-east early this afternoon with long dry periods developing elsewhere. Highest temperature of 10 to 13 degrees. Breezy too with moderate to fresh southerly winds, strong at times on the coast.

Tonight

Outbreaks of rain will return to many southern and eastern counties for a time tonight. Drier conditions further west and north with just a few showers. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees.

Tomorrow

Rain and drizzle in the south-east will gradually clear on Friday morning. Drier weather with bright spells and scattered showers will extend across the country from the north-west. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in moderate northwesterly winds.
