Patches of mist, fog and ground frost this morning. These will slowly clear. Mainly dry and mostly cloudy today. However, some scattered showers will develop, mainly in Munster, west Connacht and east Ulster. Highest temperatures ranging from 5 degrees in the northeast to 10 degrees in the southwest with light breezes.


Tonight will start off dry in many areas. Scattered showers in the west will give way to rain and drizzle, which will spread eastwards overnight. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees with frost developing in the east and northeast.


Sunday will start off mostly cloudy and damp with patchy light rain or drizzle, which will gradually clear southeastwards by noon. Bright or sunny spells and a few showers will follow from the west. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with moderate to fresh northwest to north breezes.
