Slow moving showery outbreaks of rain over south Connacht, Munster and south Leinster will continue to clear southwards but linger over southern parts tonight. Cold with clear spells elsewhere, with just a few showers near northern coasts. Some mist and fog patches too. Lowest temperatures of -1 to +5 degrees in light northeasterly winds, coldest across the north midlands, with a touch of grass frost.

Tomorrow

Some bright or sunny spells tomorrow with well scattered showers, some heavy. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a light to moderate northeasterly breeze.
