Any lingering rain further south will clear early on, leaving a bright and breezy day with sunny spells. Scattered showers will mainly affect the northern half of the country with plenty of dry weather further south. Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees, coolest in the northwest and warmest in the south and southeast, with moderate to fresh southwest to west winds, stronger in the northwest.

Dry for most with clear spells, as showers become mainly confined to the northwest and north. Cloud will thicken in the southwest and parts of the south though, with the odd spot of drizzle possible here too. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees, with light to moderate southwest to west winds, fresher at times in the west and northwest, easing through the night.
Tomorrow
Plenty of dry and bright weather with sunny spells away from the southwest. However, cloud in the southwest will gradually spread northeastwards to most areas through the day, together with the odd patch of drizzle or mist. Highest temperatures of 14 to 20 degrees, coolest in Ulster, with light variable breezes becoming southerly.
