Tonight

Dry for most with clear spells early tonight. Outbreaks of rain in Ulster will continue to track from the north, becoming confined to the southern half of the country by morning. Clear spells and scattered showers of rain and sleet will follow. Frost and some icy patches will develop with lowest temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees in moderate, occasionally fresh, northwesterly winds.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning, cloud and patchy rain for Munster and south Leinster will clear away this morning leaving a day of sunny spells and scattered showers, these mainly for Ulster and Connacht with some falls as sleet or snow. Cold with highest temperatures of just 2 to 6 degrees and mostly moderate northwesterly winds, fresher for the north and northwest.
