Wet and breezy across many areas for a time tonight with moderate to fresh winds. Some drier spells will develop across the southern half of the country overnight with winds easing mostly light, allowing patches of mist and fog to form. A chance of some frost and ice where skies clear also. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees generally, colder in the southwest under any clear spells with lowest temperatures here of 0 to 3 degrees.

Tomorrow

Dull or misty to begin on Sunday with scattered outbreaks of rain continuing, mainly for Ulster and Leinster. Becoming drier into the afternoon but remaining cloudy overall. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees, in a light to moderate easterly or variable wind, though a bit breezier for Ulster to begin.
