Outbreaks of rain will continue to extend eastwards over the country tonight, with some heavy bursts at times. A clearance to mainly dry conditions, with just isolated showers will follow from the west later in the night reaching the east coast by morning. Lows of 7 to 11 degrees, coolest in the south with some mist and fog patches developing as moderate southerly winds veer westerly and ease mostly light with the clearance of the rain. Winds will remain fresher though along Atlantic coasts.


Tomorrow, Sunday, will have a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, the showers mainly over the western half of the country during the morning, but extending further east later in the day. Some of the showers will turn heavy or thundery by afternoon, especially in the northwest. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees, in mostly moderate westerly winds.
