Tonight will continue mostly cloudy and breezy with patchy rain, drizzle and mist. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with fresh to strong south or south-west winds, reaching gale force at times along Atlantic coasts.

Tomorrow

Rather windy to begin on Tuesday, St Patrick's Day, especially in the west, but relatively mild overall. Many areas largely dry and cloudy at first with just patchy light rain, drizzle or mist. Outbreaks of more persistent rain will slowly edge in from the west later in the morning, becoming lighter and patchier as it reaches the east coast in the evening, with sunny spells and isolated showers following into western areas. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in a fresh to strong and gusty south or southwest wind which will ease later.
