Most of the country will be dry for the remainder of the day with spells of hazy sunshine. There is the just the small risk of an isolated heavy shower developing in west Connacht this evening. Highest temperatures 17 to 21 degrees in moderate east or southeast breezes.


Mild and humid tonight with mist and haze. It will start mostly dry but showers will soon move up across the country with a few heavy downpours likely. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in mostly moderate easterly or variable breezes.


Wednesday will be a mostly cloudy day with showers moving northwards across the country, turning heavy and prolonged at times. The best of any dry and bright weather is expected in Ulster and will occur early in the day. Top temperatures will range 13 to 18 degrees but turning noticeably cooler during the evening.
