Today

Today will start off cloudy and wet for most, with rain quickly spreading northeastwards across the country. The rain will clear most areas by early afternoon and be followed by sunny spells and some showers. However, cloud followed by more persistent rain will build from the south through the evening and towards nightfall. There will be some heavier thundery falls at times. A breezy day with moderate to fresh southerly winds, stronger on western coasts. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.

Tonight

A cloudy start tonight with rain moving northeastwards across the country, becoming mostly confined to Ulster by early morning. As the rain clears, it will be followed by a mix of clear spells and scattered showers feeding in from the Atlantic. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.

Tomorrow

A bright and mostly dry start with just some showers, mainly confined to Atlantic coastal areas. The showers will become more frequent in the afternoon and spread further east. They will be heavy at times with a chance of hail. Breezy with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
