Mostly cloudy this evening with outbreaks of rain clearing eastwards across the country, becoming patchier as they do so and with parts of the east staying dry until after nightfall. Limited brighter spells will break through at times. Moderate to fresh southerly winds will veer westerly and ease.

Patchy rain will clear the east early in the night, leaving a mix of clear spells and isolated showers. Some mist patches will develop too. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees, with light southwest to west winds.

Tomorrow

After a bright start towards the southeast, cloud and rain in the west will spread to most areas through the morning and afternoon. The rain will be heavy at times with thundery falls possible. As the rain clears southeastwards, sunny spells and scattered showers will spread from the northwest later in the afternoon and evening. Breezy at times with moderate to fresh and gusty southwesterly winds. Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees, warmest in the southeast.
