Scattered showers in the north and west will move southeastwards this evening. West to northwest winds will be mainly light to moderate, but fresher in the northwest.

Tonight

Largely dry and clear early tonight with just a few showers. Cloud will extend eastwards across the country from the west overnight and light rain or drizzle will reach the west and southwest by morning. Lowest temperatures of -1 to +4 degrees with frost and ice forming away from Atlantic coasts. West to northwest winds will be mainly light to moderate, but fresher in the northwest.

Tomorrow

Mostly dry and cloudy early tomorrow, but outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the west and southwest will track eastwards through the day. Some bright spells are possible in eastern parts where it will remain dry until the late afternoon. Some clear spells and isolated showers will develop in the west and southwest in the evening. Highest temperatures ranging between 3 degrees in the northeast and 10 degrees in the southwest, with mostly light westerly winds, backing southerly through the day.
