Some mist and hill fog too in near calm. Lowest of 4 to 10 degrees, coolest under clearer skies across the southwest of Munster.

Slack winds once again on Friday which will be a generally dull or cloudy day with further showery outbreaks of rain. Mixed fortunes with warm hazy sunshine in places too with brightest skies likely across the northern third of the country. A big contrast in the daily maxima with values of 11 to 18 degrees, coolest in the Southwest and warmest across the Northwest.
