A mix of cloud and clear spells with scattered outbreaks of rain or drizzle early tonight. Cloud will increase across the south overnight and more persistent rain will develop in the southwest by morning. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees with moderate to fresh east to southeast winds, easing in most areas away from the south overnight. A combination of spring tides and onshore winds may result in coastal flooding, particularly at high tide along the south and east coasts.

Tomorrow

Rain will extend across Munster and southern parts of Leinster and Connacht early tomorrow morning, while further north there'll be scattered showers and some sunny spells. The rain will become widespread through the late morning and afternoon and will continue in the north and east into the evening, while a clearance to showers develops in other areas. Turning breezy again with moderate to fresh and gusty easterly winds, occasionally becoming strong. Highest temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees.
