Mostly cloudy for the rest of St Patrick's Day. Rain and drizzle over Ulster, the midlands and Munster will continue to move eastwards. Coastal parts of Leinster will stay dry until after dark. Bright or sunny spells will develop in the west and northwest. Fresh southerly winds will gradually ease this evening.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy in Munster, Leinster and east Ulster with patchy light rain, drizzle, mist and fog. Clear intervals for a time in Connacht and west Ulster, but becoming cloudy by morning. Lowest temperatures of 2 degrees in the northwest to 9 degrees in the southeast, with mostly light southerly or variable breezes.

Tomorrow

Wednesday morning will be mostly cloudy with patchy rain, drizzle and mist. It will become drier and brighter in Leinster and Munster in the afternoon, but will continue dull in Connacht and Ulster with some further patchy light rain or drizzle. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees, mildest in the south and east with light easterly or variable winds.
