Today

Generally dry and cloudy for the rest of today with just light southerlies. Humid with highest temperatures of 16 to 22 degrees, warmest across Munster and Leinster.

Tonight

Little change tonight with dry and cloudy conditions prevailing. Mist in places too, mainly for west and southwest coasts. The rain will very slowly advance to the eastern half of the country later. While the rain will ease elsewhere, some heavy showers will follow. Areas of mist and hill fog also, especially in southern counties. Another humid day with highest temperatures of 17 to 24 degrees; warmest and driest further east, possibly staying dry until the evening. South to southwest breeze will gradually increase moderate to fresh.
