Today will be cool and blustery with sunny spells and heavy showers of rain or hail in Ulster, Connacht and north Leinster and west Munster. Much of the east and southeast will be mainly dry. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees with moderate to fresh, gusty southwest winds, which will be strong near west and north coasts.


Tonight, heavy or prolonged showers in the west and north will extend eastwards to all areas, some of hail with a risk of isolated thunderstorms in the west and north. Spot flooding is possible in heavier downpours, especially in the northwest. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with moderate to fresh, gusty west to northwest winds, strong near west and north coasts


Monday will bring sunny spells and showers to all areas, some heavy. They'll become more isolated through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees with moderate to fresh west to northwest winds, easing later.
