Clear spells for a time overnight. However, rain will develop in the west and spread across Ulster, Connacht and Munster by morning. A few patches of mist or fog possible. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with mostly light southerly breezes.

Tomorrow

Saturday will start off dry in the east. Rain further west will extend eastwards to all areas by noon turning heavy in parts of Leinster. Sunshine and scattered showers will follow, some possibly heavy, especially in Ulster. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees, with light to moderate southerly breezes.
