The rest of today will be mostly cloudy with rain moving slowly nohwards over north Leinster, north Connacht and Ulster.
Scattered showers will follow into southern areas this evening. Flooding is possible in places due to a combination of already saturated ground, high river levels and high tides.

Tonight

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle further north and some showers in the south. There will be occasional clear breaks over the southwest where mist and fog patches may form. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 6 or 7 degrees with light to moderate easterly winds, mildest in the south.

Tomorrow

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with showers feeding up from the south, a few of them heavy. Some brighter spells at times also, the best of these over the midlands and western counties. Highest temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees, with mostly moderate easterly winds.
