Tonight

Mainly dry in most places for a time tonight with clear spells and a few isolated showers. However cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle moving into the southwest and west early in the night, will slowly extend further eastwards. The rain will turn heavy at times in the southwest, while parts of Ulster and north Leinster will remain dry until morning. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees, in mostly moderate southeasterly winds, increasing fresh to strong along Atlantic coasts.

Tomorrow

Mostly cloudy and breezy to begin tomorrow, Tuesday, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. However a clearance to brighter weather in the southwest with sunshine and a scattering of showers, will slowly extend elsewhere through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, coolest in the east and north. Moderate, occasionally fresh and gusty, southeast winds will gradually ease, and veer south to southwest in western areas.
